To be transparent with our clients is one of our core values therefore, GWA Law understands that in the current economic climate clients prefer to know prices in advance. The prices below are an estimate of the likely costs for unfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal claims.
GWA Law operates on a £280/hour rate.
Service – For Claimants submitting/defending an unfair dismissal or wrongful claim to the Employment Tribunal | Cost £* |
Taking your initial instructions, reviewing the papers and advising you on merits and likely compensation (this is likely to be revisited throughout the matter and subject to change) | £280 |
ET1 (the claim form outlining your case and the nature of the dispute) | £840-£1400 |
Documents (including a review of documents and preparing the Claimant’s list of documents | £980 – £1400 |
Preparation of Witness Statements (per statement) | £2450 – £3360 |
Attendance at Tribunal (per day) | £1,400 |
Drafting COT3 Agreement (if the claim settles) | £450 – £550 |
Other work relating to a Tribunal claim such as costs warning letters, conferences with Counsel, negotiating a settlement and general correspondence and advice will be charged at the normal hourly rate | £5,880 – £6,900 |
